Cal Summers Design

Working with British Artist Cal Summers was an honour. I am a huge fan of artists like Richard Sera and Issamu Noguchi, who took a traditionally industrial medium galvanized steel and redefined it as an art form. Cal Summers' work, both delicate and strong, ancient and modern, seeks to establish a new standard for the furniture design deviating away from mass production. Each of his pieces are crafted by hand in his studio in The Bronx. The project was a unique learning experience and aims to give space to the artist's work to speak for itself.
